RPIIT Chat — Terms of Use
Last updated: 7 October 2026 · R P Educational Trust (RPIIT), Bastara, Karnal, Haryana, India
RPIIT Chat is provided by R P Educational Trust for communication among RPIIT staff, students and the contacts they invite. By signing in you agree to these terms.
Who may use it
Staff and students registered in the RPIIT ERP, people added by an RPIIT administrator, and outside contacts invited by a student or staff member. Outside contacts may only communicate with the person who invited them.
Acceptable use
- Be respectful. Harassment, bullying, ragging, threats, hate speech and sexual content are not allowed.
- Do not share other people's private information, photos or recordings without their consent.
- Do not send spam, scams, malware, or anything illegal.
- Do not record or screenshot calls or chats to embarrass or harm others.
- Follow RPIIT's code of conduct and anti-ragging rules, which also apply here.
Safety tools
You can block anyone and report any chat from the ⋮ menu. A report sends only what you write to RPIIT administrators, who may take action under institute rules, including removing access. Serious matters may be passed to the authorities as required by law.
Your content
You are responsible for what you send. Messages are kept on the phones of the people in the chat; RPIIT's server only holds them until they are delivered (class-group posts for 30 days, status updates for 24 hours).
Availability
RPIIT Chat is provided as is. We work to keep it running but cannot guarantee it will always be available or that messages will never be lost (for example if you change or reset your phone).
Ending use
You can delete your account at any time from ⋮ → Delete my account, or see how to delete your account. RPIIT may disable accounts of people who leave the institute or break these terms.
