Delete your RPIIT Chat account

Delete it yourself (fastest)

Open RPIIT Chat and log in.
Tap the ⋮ menu at the top of the chat list.
Tap Delete my account, tick the box and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately.

Ask us to delete it

If you can't log in, email info@rpiit.com from your registered email, or contact the RPIIT office, with your name and registered mobile number. We delete the account within 7 days and confirm by reply.

What is deleted

Your profile (name, mobile, email, role, photo and "about")
Status updates, blocked list, outside contacts and notification settings
Messages still waiting on the server, and your class-group posts (shown as deleted)
Chats stored on your phone (when you delete from the app)

What may be kept

Messages already delivered stay on the other people's phones — they are not on our server.
Safety reports you made or that were made about you may be kept for up to one year for safety and legal reasons, then deleted.
Your record in the RPIIT ERP (student/staff records) is not affected.
